The King of Glory comes, the nation rejoices
Open the gates before Him, lift up your voices.

Who is the King of Glory? How shall we call Him?
He is Emmanuel, the promised of ages.

In all of Galilee, in city and village
He goes among His people, curing their illness.

Sing then of David's Son, our Saviour and Brother
In all of Galilee was never another.

He gave his life for us, the pledge of salvation,
He took upon himself the sins of the nation.

He conquered sin and death; He truly has risen.
And He will share with us His heavenly vision.

we proclaim your Death, O Lord,
we proclaim your Death, O Lord,
until you come again.

Comm:  175  In his temple now behold him (tune of let us bow in adoration)
http://www.ocp.org/compositions/1837

1. In His temple now behold Him,
see the long-expected Lord;
ancient prophets had foretold Him, --
God has now fulfilled His word,
now, to praise Him, His redeemed
shall break forth with one accord.

2. In the arms of her who bore Him,
Virgin pure, behold Him lie,
while His aged saints adore Him
ere in faith and hope they die.
Alleluia! Alleluia!
see, th'incarnate God most high.

3. Jesus, by your presentation,
when they blessed you, weak and poor,
make us see our great salvation,
seal us with your promise sure,
and present us in your glory
to your Father, cleansed and pure.

4. Prince and author of salvation,
be your boundless love our theme!
Jesus, praise to you be given
by the world you did redeem,
with the Father and the Spirit,
Lord of majesty supreme.

Sheet Music http://cdn.ocp.org/shared/pdf/preview/30101589.pdf

Now O God, let your servant go.
Let me go in peace according to your word.
For my eyes behold your saving work:
a light for all the world, alleluia.

End:  747  The Light of Christ
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rWyKuGvwO50
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lOya5ris4ik

Refrain:
The light of Christ
has come into the world (2x)

1. We all must be born again
to see the kingdom of God;
the water and the Spirit
bring new life in God's love

2. God gave up His only Son
out of love for the world
So that everyone who believes in Him
will live forever

3. The light of God has come to us
so that we might have salvation,
from the darkness of our sins,
we walk into glory with Christ Jesus.
