Hymns for 30th Sunday in Ordinary Time Year C (24th Oct 2010)

(UPDATE: 1. Nearly forgot to record harmonies for 929 O Lord Hear our Prayer. Uploaded Alto and Bass now - Tenor is same as melody except for ending. 2. We will no longer be singing the Kyrie Eleison - Fr. Derek will just do a simple Lord Have Mercy. We will be singing an Offertory Hymn since we're not doing the Kyrie Eleison.  I just took out the links so that there's no more confusion. - May)

ENTRANCE:  872 My God accept my heart
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EFdjpgbf_ms

My God, accept my heart this day,
And make it wholly Thine,
That I from Thee no more may stray,
No more from Thee decline.

Before the cross of Him Who died,
Behold, I prostrate fall;
Let every sin be crucified,
And Christ be all in all.

Anoint me with Thy heavenly grace,
And seal me for Thine own,
That I may see Thy glorious face,
And worship at Thy throne.

Let every thought, and work, and word,
To Thee be ever given;
Then life shall be Thy service, Lord,
And Death the gate of Heaven.

All glory to the Father be,
All glory to the Son,
All glory, Holy Ghost, to thee,
while endless ages run.

Blest are they, the poor in spirit,
theirs is the kingdom of God.
Blest are they, full of sorrow,
they shall be consoled.

Chorus
Rejoice and be glad!
Blessed are you, holy are you!
Rejoice and be glad!
Yours is the kingdom of God!

Blest are they, the lowly ones
they shall inherit the earth.
Blest are they, who hunger and thirst,
they shall have their fill. (Chorus)

Blest are they who show mercy,
mercy shall be theirs.
Blest are they, the pure of heart,
they shall see God! (Chorus)

Blest are they who seek peace;
they are the children of God.
Blest are they who suffer in faith,
the glory of God is theirs.(Chorus)

Blest are you who suffer hate,
all because of me.
Rejoice and be glad,
yours is the kingdom;
shine for all to see.(Chorus)

FINAL 821 The kingdom of God
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ol0vIgrdN5s

The kingdom of God is justice and joy;
For Jesus restores what sin would destroy
God's power and glory in Jesus we know
And here and hereafter the kingdom shall grow

The kingdom of God is mercy and grace
The captives are freed, the sinners find place
The outcast are welcomed God's banquet to share
And hope is awakened in place of despair

The kingdom of God is challenge and choice:
Believe the good news, repent and rejoice!
His love for us sinners brought Christ to his cross:
Our crisis of judgement for gain or for loss

God's kingdom is come, the gift and the goal;
In Jesus begun, in heaven made whole,
The heirs of the kingdom shall answer his call;
And all things cry 'Glory!' to God all in all.
