Offertory: 607 Let all mortal flesh

This link is to a video of a version by Jeff Mecare:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ywVMxW3BUW8
This one is a Cynthia Clawson version:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=spwcPxux740

Let all mortal flesh keep silence
And with fear and trembling stand
Ponder nothing worldly minded
For with blessing in His hand

Christ our God to Earth descendeth
Our full homage to demand

King of Kings yet born of Mary
As of all on Earth He stood
Lord of Lords in human nature
In the body and the blood

He will give to all the faithful
His own self for heavenly food

At His feet the six-winged Seraph
Cherubim with watchful eye
Veiled their faces to His presence
As with ceaseless voice they cry:

"Hallelujah Ha-llelujah...
Hallelujah, Lord, most High!"
--------------------

Communion 1: 721 O Lord my God
Carrie underwood's version:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nhvaDJTUmrU

O Lord my God, When I in awesome wonder,
Consider all the worlds Thy Hands have made;
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder,
Thy power throughout the universe displayed.

Refrain:
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art!

When through the woods, and forest glades I wander,
And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees.
When I look down, from lofty mountain grandeur
And see the brook, and feel the gentle breeze.
(refrain)

And when I think, that God, His Son not sparing;
Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in;
That on the Cross, my burden gladly bearing,
He bled and died to take away my sin.
(refrain)

When Christ shall come, with shout of acclamation,
And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart.
Then I shall bow, in humble adoration,
And then proclaim: "My God, how great Thou art!"
(refrain)
---------------------

Communion 2: Shout to the Lord (lyrics are provided)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I71XhjqoHvs

Communion #2: Shout to the Lord

(soloist)
My Jesus, My Savior,
Lord, there is none like You;
All of my days I want to praise
(soloist 1 & 2)
the wonders of Your mighty love.

My comfort, my shelter,
Tower of refuge and strength;
Let every breath, all that I am
Never cease to worship You.

(All) Refrain:
Shout to the Lord, all the earth, let us sing
Power and majesty, praise to the King;
Mountains bow down and the seas will roar
At the sound of Your name.

I sing for joy at the work of Your hands,
Forever I'll love You, forever I'll stand,
Nothing compares to the promise I have in You.
(All singers repeat from beginning)

Nothing compares to the promise I have in You. (2 X)

Entrance - 475 Gather us in by Marty Haugen.
http://www.giamusic.com/search_details.cfm?title_id=400 (click on "listen preview")

Here in this place, new light is streaming
Now is the darkness vanished away
See in this space our fears and our dreamings
Brought here to you in the light of this day

Gather us in the lost and forsaken
Gather us in the blind and the lame
Call to us now and we shall awaken
We shall arise at the sound of our name

We are the young our lives are a mystery
We are the old who yearn for you face
We have been sung throughout all of history
Called to be light to the whole human race

Gather us in the rich and the haughty
Gather us in the proud and the strong
Give us a heart so meek and so lowly
Give us the courage to enter the song

Here we all take the wine and the water
Here we will take the bread of new birth
Here you shall call your sons and your daughters
Call us anew to be salt for the earth

Give us to drink the wine of compassion
Give us to eat the bread that is you
Nourish us well, and teach us to fashion
Lives that are holy and hearts that are true

Not in the dark of buildings confining
Not in some heaven, light-years away
here in this place the new light is shining
Now is the Kingdom, now is the day

Gather us in and hold us forever
Gather us in and make us your own
Gather us in all peoples together
Fire of love in our peoples together
-----------------------

Receive, Lord, receive our prayer. (All: repeat)

(Alleluia/Responsorial Psalm) we can either do:

Option 1: Alleuia 261 Gospel Acclamation
or

Option 2: sing the Psalm itself, if Fr. Tony agrees (we'll need to borrow the cordless mic for this, though). Nik found a beautiful song setting for this Sunday's Resp. Psalm. called Praise the Lord, my soul by the Colsons. I can sing the verses as cantor & the choir can sing the refrain. Here is a link to the sample sheet music:
http://cdn.ocp.org/shared/pdf/preview/20273z2.pdf
I am still unable to find a music clip for the song itself, but if you click this link to the podcast,
http://www.spiritandsong.com/podcasts/november-8-2009-32nd-sunday-in-ordinary-time
and click on it to play (please look at the attached picture). You can listen to the song if you move the slider to around 1.5 cm from the left.

lyrics:
refrain: Praise the Lord, my soul (thrice)
------------------

Offertory: 600 All that I am

1. All that I am, all that I do

Take and sanctify these gifts
For your honour Lord
Knowing that I love and serve You

All that I ever make I give to You today.

(repeat verse 1)

(rep. refrain - Hosanna)

Communion 1: 889 Jesus Christ is waiting

SONG: Jesus Christ is Waiting

Jesus Christ is waiting, waiting in the streets;
no one is his neighbour, all alone he eats.
Listen, Lord Jesus, I am lonely too.
Make me, friend or stranger,
fit to wait on you.

Jesus Christ is raging, raging in the streets,
where injustice spirals
and real hope retreats.
Listen, Lord Jesus, I am angry too.
In the Kingdom’s causes
Let me rage with you.

Jesus Christ is healing,
healing in the streets;
Curing those who suffer,
touching those he greets.
Listen, Lord Jesus, I have passion too.
Let my care be active, healing just like you.

Jesus Christ is dancing, dancing in the streets,
where each sign of hatred
He, with love, defeats.
Listen, Lord Jesus, we should triumph too.
On suspicion’s graveyard
let us dance with you.

Jesus Christ is calling, calling in the streets,
‘Who will join my journey?
I will guide their feet.’
Listen, Lord Jesus, let my fears be few.
Walk one step before me; I will follow you.

Communion 2: 892 The Cry of the Poor (new version please!)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QI9h7B8L71U

Refrain:
The Lord hears the cry of the poor.
Blessed be the Lord

I will bless the LORD at all times;
his praise shall be ever in my mouth.
Let my soul glory in the LORD;
for He hears the cry of the poor (refrain)

Let the lowly hear and be glad.
the Lord listens to their please;
and to hearts broken he is near,
for he hears the cry of the poor

Ev'ry spirit crushed he will save;
will be ransom for their lives;
will be safe shelter for their fears,
for he hears the cry of the poor

We proclaim the greatness of God,
his praise ever in our mouth;
ev'ry face brightened in his light
for he hears the cry of the poor
---------------------

End: 849 Freely, freely
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o4ge_vyqCYc

God forgave my sin in Jesus' name.
I've been born again in Jesus' name
And in Jesus' name I come to you
To share his love as he told me to.

Refrain:
He said 'Freely, freely you have received;
freely, freely give.
Go in my name, and because you believe
others will know that I live.

All pow'r is giv'n in Jesus' name
in earth and heav'n in jesus name
And in Jesus' name I come to you
To share his pow'r as he told me to.
(repeat Refrain)

God gives us life in Jesus' name
he lives in us in Jesus' name
And in Jesus' name I come to you
To share his peace as he told me to.
(repeat Refrain)
