Nathan's first assembly in Year 1

Every first Friday of the month different classes put on a presentation in front of the Infant school. Nathan had his first assembly presentation for Year 1 this morning.
His class opened the day with a prayer song called "Good Morning Jesus", then talked about the things they were learning about in school.
Some of his classmates talked about the parts of the body and showed some diagrams. The whole class recited a poem that went: "I have two little eyes...".
Nathan and his group made a presentation about the five senses. Nathan held up a card about the sense of touch.
Another group talked about what they learned about traffic rules & road safety, and demonstrated using road signs and one of the children riding a trike.
They also sang several songs: "I have hands that go clap, clap, clap", and "He's got the whole world in His hands."
The kids and the teachers put a lot of effort into this morning's presentation and the parents and the rest of the school enjoyed it very much.
